LLM Managers - We Salute You | FM 2008 General

Many people play LLM style on Football Manager and go on FM Britains LLM but is this LLM style a waste of time or is it an artform and the most realistic way to play ....

We all need to start somewhere, the Nou Camp maybe Old Trafford or as LLManagers would a place like The New Eyrie, for those of you who dont know that's the home of the mighty Bedford Town which has a capacity of 3000, be more apt .

Lots of people play the LLM way but is it any good or what the hell are you on about I here you cry!? LLM stands for Lower League management and essentially it means just that. However there are unwritten rules on how one should go about playing this style. These LLM rules state how they play FM.

Players aren't allowed to use patches, updates, the editor, player search section in the game, not allowed to name the players that they have bought or staff, only allowed to accept job offers if they are deemed realistic(e.g you get offered the Brazil job while at Bedford Town wouldn't be realistic).

But I just dont understand why they bother; is it the challenge, or the thrill, or the overwhelming sense of boredom as they continue to play as:

SC Austria Lustenau In the Austrain League for the 5th year runinning when reading about these people on the forum in LLM I got an overwhelming sense of wanting to go through the screenshots and slap them about with a fish and tell them to get a life but.....

They are playing FM the way the real managers do, they don't have player search buttons they only have their scouting network they built up and the rest of the stuff. These hardcore gamers play it the way FM should be played, they play it to the rules of the F.A. Shouldn't we all play it the LLM way, that way we could see who the best managers in the community are. We would sort the Berti Vogits(Still hate that man for what he done to Scotland) from the Brian Cluffs. If we all did then we would see if we are actually any good at this game so don't be scared and just try it for once.
