Challenge 1: Arsenal (min 12 matches)

The Season So Far:

Arsene Wenger started the season with two big signings. Adrian Mutu for £17.25m and Per Mertesacker for £15.25m. Unfortunately after 28 Premier League games Arsenal lie in 5th with just 12 wins, 11 points behind the leaders Liverpool, but with a game in hand. However, there is potential to gain some additional silverware this season, A.C. Milan are waiting for Arsenal in the Champions League quarter finals.

Adebayor is the clubs current joint top goal scorer with 13 goals from 33 appearances. Robin van Persie also has 13 goals, but a torn hamstring means his season has been cut short. Mutu has only played in 8 matches so far, scoring 0 in the league and 4 in the cup.

Arsenal have already won the League Cup this season, beating Everton 2-1 in the final. This result someone made up for the 5-1 away loss to an Everton side who played with 10 men for 45 minutes.

Current League Table

The Challenge:

You must attempt to salvage something from what has so far been a bad season for Arsenal. Arsenal fans will not forgive you if you finish below Tottenham in the League and Champions League football for next season is essential. You have 10 Premier League games left to complete this challenge.

Please post screenshots on the forums to show us how well you did in your game. In the best case scenario you will win the League and Champions League, however this will be an enormous challenge. You must finish at least 4th in the League in order to complete this challenge.

Good Luck.

Challenge 2: Man City

The Season So Far:

Man City fans were hopeful of a decent premier league campaign, lots of new players had been bought in by Sven Goran Eriksson and the future looked promising for The Citizens.

However, nothing went to plan for Sven and his team. With just one win so far this season after 19 games, Man City lie bottom of the table with 10 points. 4-0 losses to both Everton and Arsenal away have not done much to help morale in the City camp.

There are no long term injuries to worry about, but the fact that Martin Petrov is the clubs current top goal scorer with 4 goals in 16 appearances is a cause for concern.

Current League Table

The Challenge:

Only one team has ever avoided relegation after being bottom of the Premiership table at Christmas.

You need to repeat West Broms feat in order to complete this challenge. You will be aided by the fact that chairman Thaksin Shinawatra has given you £21m to play with, and the transfer window opens in less than a week.

The FA cup has yet to start, try and bring some silverware to the City of Manchester Stadium this year!

Good Luck.
