Jared Borgetti, Mexico’s all-time top goal-scorer, is the only Mexican international to make it to the premiership. He wasn’t a big hit and only made it one season with Bolton Wanderers after failing to break into the first team set-up. However, this is not to say other Mexicans can’t make it at the top level. They already have produced proven players like Rafael Marquez, who plays for one of the biggest clubs in the world, Barcelona. Although Mexico have never been the biggest threat at international level, ranked 26th in the Fifa world rankings, if some of their players turn out like they do in Football Manager then you could see this dramatically change. Here are some of the Mexicans I recommend you take a look at in the transfer market.

IMPORTANT:
Make sure you get your own scouts to take a look at them first before you splash any cash. Every player under the age 23 potential could be slightly different in each new game.
