Leaving behind formations with three attackers, we decided to give a try to a defensive 5-4-1 formation.

4-5-1 had initially performed pretty well, leaving Bolton at the security of the middle of the league table, with a slightly positive goal difference.

We had hoped at least something similar with 5-4-1. In vein. It was the first time in 7 tests that we managed to almost get Bolton relegated!

Funny thing is that we didn't have a much different goal difference compared to the previous formations. However, it seemed that Bolton  had more difficulty to take the results, though scoring and conceding the same average number of goals.

Nicky Hunt was a pleasant surprise with 10 assists

Apart from that, not really much to say. Just a couple of screenshots, and let's hope we shall quickly forget this one.
