It's been nearly a month since my last tactic test article, since i 've been too busy with site speed issues. Time to look into the 3-4-3 attacking formation.

One should at least expect a good attacking line for Bolton, whereas the defense should prove problematic. We were of course right, but only regarding the second part of the story. Bolton did prove to have a bad defense, the worse so far, yet, surprisingly, scored far less goals than in the 4-4-2 season.

Bolton got its worse position so far, ending up in the 14th place!

As you can see, with only 56 goals for, and 75 conceded, the -19 GD is definitely a negative record.

An easy explanation is that none of the players performed well. With the exception of the usual suspect, Anelka and Campos nobody can even get a 7 in front of his average performance.

The only really strange thing for me in this graph is that a Greek player, Giannakopoulos, who is an attacking midfielder scored high in the yellow cards field.

I don't really think we need to discuss anything more in this formation.  I will just give you a glimpse of the starting 11. Diouf's performance was abysmal, whereas Vaz was a pleasant surprise.
