Spanish Starlets
Spain, along with Holland, the serial underperformers at international level with only one senior level tournament win all the way back in 1964 and their best ever world cup finish being a disappointing 4th in 1950. Spain are a nation who have never been short of talent, stretching all the way back to 1920 with Zamora and Pichichi and a lot more recently David Villa and Liverpool bound Fernando Torres, and this unlike their international record is one thing that looks set to continue. By now everyone should have heard of 16 year old Bojan Krkić but who else is set to break out onto the international scene?
Some of the players on this shortlist include, but are not limited to:
Goalkeepers
Antonio Adan
The latest in a long line of keepers off the Madrid production line, heir apparent to Iker Casillas himself, up there with Ochoa and Ustari for the title of best young keeper in the game
Ismael
A great young keeper not quite up to Adan's standards but this boy can be quality, good enough for clubs chasing Europe with a year or so's training
Defenders
Raul Albiol
The Valencia star has the ability to play for any club in the world, Argentinian legend Ayala's replacement
Alexis
Along with Ramos and Albiol, he is one of the best young defenders in Spain and has the ability to become one of the best in the game
Aythami
One of the less known players on this list a perfect player for anyone mid table or better and no where near as expensive as some of the others on this list
Gerard Pique
The young United star on loan at Zaragoza, a super young player great in the air and solid on the deck
Sergio Ramos
Future captain of Real Madrid and Fernando Hierro's second coming
Midfielders
Marc Crosas
Pep Guardiola's eventual replacement, another gem of a player coming from the Barca youth
Javi Garcia
One of the gems of the Madrid youth, with the ability to succeed at the highest level
Miguel Pallardo
In the mold of Valencia captain Albelda, a great young player for top half clubs
David Silva
Valencia's answer to Messi and Robinho, great for any club that can afford him so snap him up now
Alberto Zapater
The Zaragoza man nicknamed the Bull but the legend himself Maradona, and that says it all perfect midfield destoryer for top clubs
Strikers
Bojan
One of the best striking prospects in the game, and yet another player for La Masia, sign him while you can afford him
Alberto Bueno
Tagged as the next Raul, top finisher and a speedy little guy as well. A great young player and someone you should snap up right away
Adrian Lopez
A great signing for anyone that can afford him, i guarantee you that if you buy this player he will bang the goals in
IMPORTANT: Remember to get your scouts to take a look before you shell out because not every player is the same in every game, and please bear in mind that all of the players on this shortlist are 21 years old or younger and so most will need training, my personal recommendation is Mikedadude's Training Schedule .
