WC2006: Kaka
(0 votes)

Don't expect to get him for cheap. And i don't expect you to say "who is this guy"? However, in a day when the stars failed to shine, Zizou's France ending up with no goals against Switzerland, Ronaldo and Ronaldinho completely out of the game for Brazil, Kaka was the only real star to survive.

In the first place i wanted to give the player of the day award to an old favourite of mine. Old Cafu still went up and down the pitch for almost 70 minutes before he got tired, and it was after his excellent dribble and passing that Kaka had the chance to score. Which comes as natural, considering hes 16 in long shots, which nornally goes up by 2 points once 3 months of training have gone by. Let's not forget that apart from the goal he scored, he also had another very good 25-meter long shot, which ended just wide.

Playing in the centre of the pitch, with Cafu on the right and Ronie on the left, Kaka had virtually no chance to demonstrate his ability of 16 in crossing, but he definitely showed he can handle the ball well. He didn't dribble much (18) but his technique of 19 was obvious in the way he moved around with the ball, in his first touch, all that made him the only effective playmaker for the brasilians last night. After all his flair and acceleration, both 18, helped him move elegantly through every part of the attacking midfield. Surprisingly, even if his tackling is a mere 11, he even attempted to help his team defensively!

Kaka has 5 preferred moves in FM2006, of which he performed successfully 2: Runs with ball through centre, and shoots long
