What are the HomeGrown players that will bother us from season 2006/2007?
Clubs like Chelsea with their huge money potential have made UEFA anxious to ensure large European clubs will continue to produce youngsters. So they did pass a regulation, according to which each club from season 2006/2007 will have to include at least 6 homegrown and 2 club grown players in their squad. A player is considered to be Home Grown, if he has been training for a club of the same country he now plays at during the age of 15-21. He is considered to he Club Homegrown if he has been training at that club for at least 3 years during this period. A Homegrown player will get a yellow HG next to his name, whereas a Club HomeGrown will get an orange one. In case you do have trouble filling in your squad, you might have to promote someones from your youth teams!
