At the start of your management career at Arsenal the board will declare that they would like the club to challenge for the Premiership title, If this or more than this is achieved by the manager in the first year of their career then they will be a fan favourite and they will also be in the good books of the clubs board.

Arsenal is probably one of the easiest sides in the Premiership for a new manager to manage. They are also a good team to manage if you want instant success as a manager. The move to the Emirates Stadium will boost the bank balance of the club, which means the money made will go to you for extra transfer budget.


Arsenal has some of the best players in the whole game in their team. Players like Ashley Cole, Sol Campbell, Freddy Ljunberg, Alexander Hleb and Dennis Bergkamp line up alongside the great Thierry Henry. The team is capable of winning trophies without even spending a penny in the transfer market. Arsenal also has a good youth team with a few of the player being capable of fitting straight into the first team. These being:

Anturo Lupoli
Francesc Fabregas
Quincy Awusu Abeyie

And that’s just to name a few of the players with great talent in the youth system as Arsenal.

With the money, which you have in the transfer budget, I would recommend bringing in cover for the following positions:

Goalkeeper
Winger right and left
Midfielder central


I recommend bringing in cover for Jens Lehmann as there is no real cover for him. The wingers would also bring in cover for the aging Pires and Ljunberg, whereas the midfielder central would cover the loss of Patrick Vieira.


When you take control of Arsenal keep the tactic(s) the way they are when you take over the club. You could also try using:

451 formation
433 formation



So all there is left to say now is that there is a great chance of you going further in the champions league and also that Arsenal are capable of winning more trophies than the champions league and also the Premiership.
