Another option when you are up to start a new game is whether you are going to use real players or not. In general if you are new to the game, it is most likely that you will start by managing your favourite club or maybe some major European club. This way, you will have an idea of the actual formation the team deploys and the players that are used in each position; so it will be easier for you to arrange your championship manager team. After all the first hours you are spending with CM are better used trying to get an overall idea of the game (especially if you are new to the managerial games in general) rather than try to endorse in any and every detail. So you should normaly leave the use real players option to on The same general instructions apply to experienced managers who just wish to play a whole season in an afternoon. Let's say your favourite team lost in this Sunday's big match, and you are mad of course. You open your pc, load CM and get the championship and the Champions League before night falls. You don't want to spend 4 days and 5 nights searching for the new Hadzimehmedovic, you just take a look at your favourite player list and just buy those who will crush the opponent. And yes, this can be done only with real players on! On the other hand setting the real players to off makes the game load into a new dimension. You are left in a total blanc universe, unaware of all but the hardly acquainted skills you have mastered after countless hours of playtime. No cheats are available here. No internet-found 10,000-buck players that will play better than Ronaldo. It's just you and the game. It means of course that you need a great deal of time searching on and on, but it is definitely worth it, at least once. And you can not name yourself a top-class manager in case you haven't! |
