Midfielders' training
You should apply both attacking and defensive exercises, and plenty of technical stuff too. First of all general training exercises such as overloading (defensive and attacking) 5-a-side and Pig in the middle will mostl benefit your midfield. Also add technique, shooting and agility, mostly to your attacking midfielders, whereas some defensive exercises should go to the DMCs. All should have set pieces (attacking) and shadow play in.
