Next formation to be submitted to our benchmark was the classic 3-5-2. I don't think many things are needed to describe this tactic, all of us have used it some day or another, and it has proved great in CM3. But does it really word in CM 4?

Aston Villa
Our first impression with 3-dc tactics is that simply they don't seem to work in CM4. the first thing to do when i played CM3 was sell my wingbacks. Now 4-4-2 seems to rule. Aston Villa's season was no less than a catastrophe. This year manager k8oylos was sacked even earlier, on January 19th,

Aston Villa ended the year with only 36(!) in the league table, having scored only 25 goals. Surprisingly enough, using 3 dcs seemed to help the defense, with only 37 goals scored against.

Q.P.R.
In the previous formation, Q.P.R. saved the game. This is not the case with 3-5-2, since the team ended up in the 13th place in the league.

They were not really bad off, with +11 goal difference, bu neither their attack nor their defense seemed to roll as well as in the previous case.
However the fans were not disappointed and the board was satisfied with the league position!
Concluding
this test just came to confirm something we already knew: The 3-5-2 formation do not really work in CM4. At least not in their original versions. No more comments are needed, results are there to speak for themselves!
